Tip Top Food and Spirits has closed. In a statement posted on the bar and restaurant’s Facebook page on March 19, owner Djordje “George” Korac wrote:
“I have sad news to let everyone know, this is the last week Tip Top will be open, we are closing friday night for good. if you want fried chicken u have til thursday and friday is just BBQ Ribs with slaw and pot. salad. I hope to be able to see everyone one last time to be able to say goodbye.. Thank you for 6 good years in soulard.. Ro and Djordje..”
We have been unable to reach anyone from the former Soulard eatery for further comment. Tip Top’s fried chicken will be sorely missed.
