060310_yomyThe latest in a flurry of frozen yogurt shops has debuted in downtown Webster Groves. Yo My Goodness opened this week at 237 W. Lockwood Ave., serving up 12 flavors of nonfat frozen yogurt that range from tart (Oriental Ginger) to sweet (Dulce de Leche). The shop, owned by John Travers, uses yogurt mixes made locally by Pacific Valley Dairy in Pacific, Mo. Customers can create their own sugary concoctions with a wide range of mix-ins, which include plenty of candy and cookies, as well as cereal and locally grown fruit, when available. Manager Nick Gossett’s goal is to create a space that will offer, “a fun, exciting and tasty experience. We want to fit the vibe of Webster, and we’ll always be changing things up.” Look for Yo My Goodness to start offering novelty treats – think Dilly bars made from frozen yogurt – and pints to go later this summer.
