Combine the first six ingredients in a bowl. Mix until combined and set aside.
Fill a wok with 2 inches of water. Set over high heat and bring to a boil.
Once boiling, add the salmon fillets to the wok and reduce the heat.
Simmer until the fish is slightly translucent, about 8 minutes.
Remove from the pan, drain and pat dry.
Spoon the sauce over the salmon and garnish with freshly minced chives.
