Featuring over 80,000 oysters flown in overnight and more than 15 stouts brewed exclusively for the festival, Schlafly’s Stout & Oyster Festival is the largest of its kind in the Midwest. The real “pearl” of the event is the schuckers: Schlafly flies in almost 20 “star shuckers” to shuck oysters fresh. Free admission.

If you’re down for a road trip this weekend, head to Piney River Brewing Co., which will mark its 11th anniversary with live music, food and special beer releases.
