Narrow Gauge Brewing Co.‘s Third of the Way to März is the lead ship in the sea of Oktoberfests. This Märzen poster child, which spent two weeks fermenting followed by 10.5 weeks in the lager phase, showcases the roastiest of German malts nobly balanced with subtle (also German) hops for bittering. Finishing crisp and toasty, it is an homage to summer’s march into fall. Truly, a lager for the season.
