The voluptuous, perfectly balanced 2017 Jayson Sauvignon Blanc from Napa Valley ranks in my top 10 favorite whites. Utilizing neutral French oak to add layers of complexity, this lush, ripe blend exudes notes of Key lime pie with white peaches, a major contrast to the gooseberry acidity typical of New Zealand sauvignon blancs. Plus, it’s a great value since many Jayson Pahlmeyer wines have prices in the triple digits.
