The event that started it all is back. Sauce Food Truck Friday returns to Tower Grove Park on Friday, May 1, kicking off the highly anticipated 2026 “Summer of Flavor” Tour.
Known as St. Louis’ original and premier food truck event, Food Truck Friday brings together more than 20 of the region’s top mobile kitchens each week, serving everything from burgers and tacos to globally inspired street food. Guests can also enjoy live music, local craft beverages, and a vibrant, community-driven atmosphere under the park’s historic canopy.
This year’s opening night will feature a special theme in partnership with St. Louis City SC, transforming the park into a high-energy celebration of food and soccer. Attendees can expect interactive elements- including a pop-up soccer field- making it a can’t-miss experience for fans and families alike.

In addition to the kickoff festivities, STL Bucket List will debut its new apparel line on-site, marking an exciting new chapter for the local brand. “This first Food Truck Friday of the season always sets the tone, but this year we’re taking it to another level,” said Sauce owner Luke Farrell. “Partnering with STL City SC, introducing new experiences, and continuing to highlight the best of St. Louis food culture – it’s everything people love about this event, elevated.”
The 2026 season includes eight total event dates across May, June, August, September, and October, with a brief pause in July. Each event runs from 4-8 p.m. and remains completely free to attend.
‘Guests are encouraged to bring blankets or lawn chairs and enjoy a relaxed evening in one of St. Louis’ most iconic parks. Parking is available throughout Tower Grove Park and surrounding neighborhoods. Food Truck Friday is produced in partnership with the St. Louis Food Truck Association, presented by 4 Hands Brewing Co. and Swade Cannabis Dispensary, with event production by Bucket List Creative.
