Tacos, tequila and a stacked lineup of throwback hip-hop are taking over CarShield Field this September.
The Tacos and Tequila Festival returns to the St. Louis area on Saturday, Sept. 12, bringing an all-day mix of live music, locally made tacos, craft margaritas, tequila shot bars and plenty of early-2000s nostalgia.
This year’s lineup is headlined by Fat Joe, Rick Ross, Ginuwine, Xzibit and Paul Wall, with performances from Yung Joc, St. Louis’ own Murphy Lee, Bubba Sparxxx and DJ Ashton Martin.
And the music is only part of the experience. Festivalgoers can expect local taco vendors, tequila and margarita bars, lucha libre wrestling, a Chihuahua beauty pageant, art installations and photo opportunities throughout the grounds.
The festival is 21 and older and takes place outdoors rain or shine. General admission tickets currently start at $59, with discounted two-person and four-pack options available, plus VIP packages that include premium viewing areas, dedicated bars, margarita vouchers and a taco flight.
