Taste of St. Louis won’t be back until 2027.

The annual summer festival was recently acquired by local event producers Patrick Zundel and Dustin Row. Since the end of 2025, they’ve been assessing festival logistics to determine a path to long-term success.

“This festival has a long history in St. Louis, and we want the next chapter to be built to last, not rushed back onto the calendar before it’s ready,” Zundel said in a statement. “That means taking the time to find the right venue for our crowd size and to build an operational plan that treats local restaurants as partners, not just vendors.”

Zundel and Row are the owners of Event Management & Design, LLC, and EventOps, LLC, respectively, and they plan to bring their experience in large-scale local event production to Taste of St. Louis.

They’ll use the remainder of 2026 to finalize a new venue and vendor structure to best support St. Louis restaurants. New details should be revealed in early 2027, with a goal of bringing the festival back next fall.

“St. Louis has one of the best food scenes in the country, but local restaurants are still working through inflation, tight margins and everything else the last few years have thrown at them,” Row said. “The festival needs to be a driver for their business, not an added expense. We want our restaurant partners to walk away with real profit and new regulars at their brick-and-mortars all year long. And we want to do that while keeping the festival free for the public.”

The event has been known to host 100,000 visitors, all flocking to the food, drink, local makers and live entertainment that St. Louis has to offer. Food vendors like Seoul Taco, Crispy Sips and FUFU n’ Sauce have covered a wide range of cuisines, encompassing everything from snacks to worldwide flavors to desserts.
