I love the local dive bars like Colorado Bob’s [Ship of Fools] on Morgan Ford Road. It’s an old pirate ship-of-a-bar. They have a sailboat in front with a sail. When the bar is open, the sail is up. When the bar is closed, the sail is down. Inside, there’s a huge ship wheel that is 6 or 7 feet in diameter. I’m comfortable there. Another place I go is The Crack Fox. We South City people can get a little taste of South City right downtown on Olive Street. They have hilarious karaoke. When it comes to drinking, I’m pretty simple. I’ll drink a Jameson and a Guinness. Maybe Ketel One on the rocks or a nice tequila, neat with a nice cold beer, but my go-to would be Jameson.
