Sugarfire Smokehouse is stepping up to the plate with a new partnership featuring St. Louis Cardinals outfielder Jordan Walker.
The season-long collaboration, which runs through the end of the 2026 Major League Baseball season, will introduce a specialty menu item, a home run-themed giveaway, and a charitable fundraising effort benefiting Walker’s education-focused nonprofit, Walker’s Winners.
Beginning Wednesday, June 10, fans can order the limited-time J-Walk Plate at all Sugarfire locations. The sampler-style meal highlights some of Walker’s favorite menu items, including pulled pork, brisket, jalapeño cheddar sausage, burnt ends, baked beans, and mac and cheese.
A portion of proceeds from every J-Walk Plate sold will be donated to Walker’s Winners, the foundation Walker launched with his parents, Derek and Katrina Walker. The organization supports K-12 students through literacy and math initiatives and has recently partnered with local organizations including Lifewise STL and Confluence Academy.
The partnership also includes Sugarfire’s “Home Run Hookup” promotion, inspired by the restaurant group’s founders’ memories of classic fast-food baseball giveaways. Whenever Walker hits a home run during the season, fans can redeem a free pulled pork or turkey sandwich by presenting a ticket stub from that game at any Sugarfire location within 24 hours. The offer applies to both home and away games and is limited to one sandwich per customer.
“We wanted this campaign to feel fun, and a little old school baseball, it’s the kind of thing people can actually get excited about,” Sugarfire founder and owner Mike Johnson said in a statement. “Every time Jordan hits a homer, we’re celebrating too. What’s better than baseball and free BBQ?”
The campaign extends beyond food. Sugarfire has also partnered with St. Louis artist Stan Chisholm, known professionally as 18andCounting, to create a collection of limited-edition merchandise inspired by Walker, baseball culture, and the city’s identity. The merchandise line is expected to launch later this month and will be available at participating Sugarfire locations.
Sales of both the specialty plate and merchandise will help support Walker’s Winners.
“Jordan is the real deal, and this partnership reflects that,” said Charlie Downs, co-founder of Sugarfire Smokehouse. “We’re proud to support Walker’s Winners and be part of something that matters to this community.”
The J-Walk Plate and Home Run Hookup promotion launch June 10 and will continue through the conclusion of the 2026 baseball season.
