A new $15 million entertainment complex is set to debut in Fenton this weekend, bringing duckpin bowling, virtual reality, miniature golf and a full-service kitchen under one expansive roof.
WOW! Entertainment will celebrate its grand opening Friday, Feb. 27, through Sunday, March 1 at 138 Fiedler Lane, just off Highway 141. The 26,875-square-foot venue will be open 11 a.m. to midnight on Friday and Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Sunday, with family-friendly activities, food and drink specials, and giveaways planned throughout the weekend.
Built by ARCO Construction, the state-of-the-art facility features an 18-hole mountain-style miniature golf course, eight lanes of duckpin bowling, four Topgolf Swing Suite simulators, a virtual reality arena, polysynthetic ice curling, four private karaoke lounges and multiple event spaces. Three outdoor patios, including one perched on a mezzanine overlooking the golf course, add to the lineup.
“We’re proud to bring WOW! Entertainment to the Fenton community as a place where people can come together and spend meaningful time with one another,” said Tommy Fernandez, director of operations. “From dining and drinks to games and events, this venue brings something for everyone.”
According to Jill Metherd, director of sales and marketing, the goal is to create a year-round gathering place that serves a wide range of needs.
“WOW! Entertainment is a great addition to Fenton and the greater St. Louis area because it creates a place for families, friends and co-workers to gather year-round for fun shared experiences,” Metherd said. “It brings new jobs, supports local partnerships and is a destination for everything from birthday parties to corporate gatherings.”
Metherd added that the breadth of attractions, combined with customer service, sets the venue apart.
“What makes WOW! stand out is the amazing staff and the variety of attractions available under one roof,” she said. “Guests can sing their favorite songs in one of the karaoke lounges, tee off in a golf simulator, get a strike in duckpin bowling or even step into immersive virtual reality in our ValoArena.”
Fernandez said the food and beverage program is also designed to elevate the experience beyond games alone.
“We have a scratch kitchen with elevated classics and gourmet options, along with craft beers and cocktails at our sports bar,” he said. “Guests can enjoy food and beverages throughout the venue, including our outdoor patio spaces, one of which is located on the mezzanine level.”
Menu highlights include a warm Bavarian pretzel grazing board, buttermilk fried chicken tenders, Ozark Mountain chili, a hot and spicy smash burger and steak poutine. A grab-and-go counter called WOW-Z offers quick snacks and bottled beverages, and there are 75 TVs throughout the venue, with 21 TVs at the sports bar.
To mark its debut, WOW! is launching a limited-time promotion during opening weekend. Guests who sign up for the venue’s e-club onsite will be entered to win a bowling party for eight. Additional prizes include attraction vouchers, free bowling games and complimentary appetizers.
The company also plans to give back during its “Grand Opening Month of Giving,” with a portion of Sunday sales donated to a different local nonprofit each week. Beneficiaries include the St. Louis Area Foodbank (April 12), Ranken Jordan Pediatric Bridge Hospital (April 19), First Tee – Greater St. Louis (April 26) and the St. Louis Sports Commission (May 3).
Following the opening weekend, WOW! Entertainment will operate Sunday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., and Friday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to midnight.
