As nice as it is to play April Fools’ Day jokes on your friends, there’s a line that shouldn’t be crossed when it comes to messing with hungry people. Here are a few local gags that perfectly walked the line.

View this post on InstagramWe’ve thrown a lot of changes at y’all lately, but we’re excited to finally announce our biggest one yet – we’re extremely proud to welcome Phil Wymore & Matt Besch to the 2nd Shift Fam. Phil will be taking over day to day operations and overseeing the brewery – “I’m excited to make this move to 2nd Shift, and look forward to new challenges. My time at Perennial was fruitful, but now that we have beer in pouches, there’s really nothing left for me to accomplish there” — Phil Wymore Matt will be taking over co-owner Libby Crider’s job of “Classroom Monitor” as Libby transitions into her new role of “chief Crider babysitter”. To new roles and beginnings!

View this post on InstagramFriends, I’ve decided that I will only be drinking iced coffee. I am so sorry to disappoint, but my new tagline moving forward will be, “Damn fine coffee! And ice cold ??.”

View this post on InstagramAll your favorite BA shows, now with 100 percent more whispering. That’s right, we’re pivoting to ASMR. Here’s editor in chief @rapoport on the decision: “We’ve seen the rapid growth of ASMR videos on YouTube, and know we’re missing out by not being a part of it. Today that changes. From Gourmet Makes to It’s Alive to From The Test Kitchen, all your favorite programming will now be optimized for users to experience an autonomous sensory meridian response. We think you’re going to dig it.” Each series will switch over to ASMR over the course of the next month, but you can get a first look at what’s to come through the link in our profile.
