To welcome the Year of the Tiger just a bit early, Furball 2010 will (figuratively) join cats and Chinese cuisine this Saturday, Feb. 6, at Lu Lu Seafood & Dim Sum Restaurant.
The bash benefits Clowder House, the South Side feline shelter. The preplanned dinner will be served Lazy Susan-style. It will include three appetizers, three vegetarian dishes, one chicken dish and one beef dish, as well as beer, wine, soda and tea, said Amy Petty, media contact for Clowder House Foundation. “All of the dishes are pretty basic to best suit all taste issues and possible allergies,” she said. The event, which starts at 7 p.m., includes a silent auction and entertainment.
For information on the event, phone the shelter at 314.776.7877 or e-mail clowderhouse@juno.com.
