Sanctuaria‘s latest wild idea – garden-to-glass drinking, featured in our Elixir column in the June issue – may soon rival farm-to-fork dining. The tapas restaurant in The Grove recently launched the Garden Table, which showcases the fresh herbs, vegetables and flowers harvested from the restaurant’s new garden in drinks shaken and stirred by Sanctuaria’s talented barkeeps.
“The cocktails will all be bartender’s choice. However, it will be based on what the guests want – sweet, dry, strong, etc.,” said bar manager Matt Seiter.
Every Friday and Saturday, the restaurant will offer three Garden Table seatings – at 5:30 p.m., 7:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. – for a table of four on the patio. A party of two can be accommodated inside at the bar. Regular food menu items will be available as well as chef’s selections. There is a $50 reservation fee, which will be applied to the bill or charged in the event of cancellations made with less than 24-hours’ notice.
