With a whopping 23 breweries within 75 miles of downtown St. Louis, it’s safe to say we’re a bit of a beer city, but let’s not forget about our burgeoning craft spirit scene. If you need help jogging your memory, starting tomorrow, there’s a whole week of exciting events around town devoted to celebrating local craft spirits.
To kick off the St. Louis Craft Spirits & Cocktail Week, head to Lafayette Square Park tomorrow, Sept. 7 from 6 to 9 p.m. for The Classic Cocktail Party
Want a more intimate setting? On Sunday, Sept. 8, Still630 and The Libertine are partnering for a whiskey event. For reservations call 314.862.2999. Not a whiskey person? No problem. On Monday, Sept. 9, Sanctuaria and The Big O are partnering for a cocktail dinner – Many Shades of Ginger – but act fast; reservations need to be made by today: 314.535.9700. Is rum more your speed? You’re covered. On Tuesday, Sept. 10, Spirits of St. Louis distillery is showcasing five styles of Island Time Rum with a tasting and cocktail dinner at Square One Brewery & Distillery.
