Boardwalk Waffles & Ice Cream opens doors Saturday, Feb. 4 at 7326B Manchester Road in Maplewood.

The pint-sized dessert shop is just large enough for a counter with two dip cabinets and a row of waffle makers.
Boardwalk offers 16 rotating flavors of Serendipity ice cream available as a waffle sandwich or plain scoops.
Sharable full orders feature four scoops of ice cream and two made-to-order Belgian waffles. Clockwise from top right, customers can choose flavors like mint chip, black cherry, cappuccino chip and praline.
Half orders sandwich two scoops between two waffle halves; quarter orders with a single scoop and one waffle half.
Fluffy Belgian waffles are made to order; customers can also order plain waffles and drizzle them with butter and maple syrup.
