Au Soleil at the Le Meridien St. Louis Clayton hotel at 7730 Bonhomme Ave. has been a popular event series the past few years, so they’re adding an extra day each week for 2024. Last year, the event took place only on Thursday evenings, but soon you’ll be able to go on Fridays as well.
Beginning June 6, the lush pool deck will open to the public from 5:30 to 8 p.m. every Thursday and Friday through Sept. 30.
Guests can order off the Cafe la Vie menu, which will offer an assortment of snacks and entrees. A rosé and lemonade cocktail menu will also be available. Alexander Ruwe and the Red Jacket Band will again perform live music throughout the event.
“Au Soleil Thursday nights were so popular last year that they sold out within the first few weeks of summer,” Danielle Minninger, the hotel’s marketing manager, said in a release. “With the introduction of Au Soleil Fridays, we’re excited that more locals will get to experience our pool deck. It truly is an urban oasis in the middle of downtown Clayton.”
Tickets for these events will likely sell out quickly again, so you should probably lock in some dates with your crew sooner rather than later. Tickets for both Thursdays and Fridays are available online.
