Chris’ Pancake & Dining will soon be adding a third location. This week, signs appeared at the old TGI Friday’s location at 5262 S. Lindbergh Blvd., stating “Get Ready South County.” A post on a local Affton Facebook group featuring a photo of the sign garnered almost 3,000 reactions at the time of this article, as well as many comments expressing excitement for a new breakfast spot for the residents of South County.

The restaurant already has two open locations and is part of Bartolino’s Hospitality Group, which also owns the three Bartolino’s in St. Louis. Their flagship location of Chris’ at 5980 Southwest Ave. has been serving breakfast and lunch since 1987, including classics like omelettes and benedicts, as well as new concepts like breakfast fried rice. Chris’ @ the Docket opened at 100 N. Tucker Blvd. in 2016, keeping the heart of the original restaurant while using a similar yet refined menu of their own, featuring items like breakfast tacos and chicken and waffles. Both locations also have diverse drink menus of coffee, mimosas and cocktails. For lunch, customers can choose from a variety of fresh meals, from salad to a buffalo chicken sandwich to a half-pound smash burger.

A representative for Chris’ Pancake and Dining confirmed that the business just signed the papers for their new space on Lindbergh, and they hope to have the new location open in the spring of 2026. Due to being in the early planning stages, not much more information has been released at this time. We will continue to update as more details are available. In the meantime, be sure to check out the individual locations’ online menus to find the Chris’ Pancake and Dining that’s perfect for your palate.
