Le Meridien St. Louis Clayton is kicking off its annual Au Soleil summer pool series with a community-focused twist: 100% of ticket sales from its Au Soleil Thursdays events in May will be donated to tornado relief efforts in the St. Louis area. The hotel, located at 7730 Bonhomme Ave. in the heart of Clayton, is dedicating proceeds from its May 22 and May 29 events to support local recovery following recent severe storms.

“We’re proud to use our rooftop pool deck as more than just a place to relax – it’s a way to bring the community together,” said Danielle Minninger, marketing manager at Le Meridien St. Louis Clayton. “By donating all ticket sales from these two Au Soleil Thursdays, we hope to provide meaningful support to those affected by the tornadoes.”

The tornado relief effort is part of a broader relaunch of the hotel’s summer programming, which includes a lineup of new and returning experiences designed to make the most of rooftop season. The 268-room European-inspired property is once again transforming its pool deck into a sun-soaked hub of cocktails, music, wellness and summer indulgence.

The event series debuted last week and continues weekly through Sept. 11, taking place from 5:30 to 8 p.m. every Thursday. Guests can enjoy rosé and lemonade cocktails, petite bites from Café la Vie, and live music from local artists. All proceeds from ticket sales on May 22 and May 29 will go directly to tornado relief. Fridays are Golden Hour events and mirror the Thursday experience, running from June 6 through Aug. 29, with the addition of St. Germain Hugo Spritz batched cocktails, ideal for groups of up to four.

New for 2025, Serene Sundays offer a more tranquil take on poolside lounging. Running from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. each Sunday, June 8 through Aug. 17, the event features rooftop sound baths, a wellness-inspired food and beverage menu, and a poolside library curated by The Novel Neighbor. Live music from local artists rounds out the restorative atmosphere.

Tickets are required for all of the above experiences and are available online.

The Au Soleil room package, available June 1 through Oct. 31, includes overnight accommodations for two, daily breakfast, and Le Meridien’s signature gelato or sorbet treat, “Le Scoop.” Daily pool passes are also available throughout the summer with limited availability.

For remote workers seeking a stylish change of scenery, Le Meridien is introducing its new Workcation pass. Guests receive access to a poolside workstation, high-speed Wi-Fi, a clean backdrop for video calls, and even a button-up shirt to look professional before returning to leisure mode.
