VP Square, the popular restaurant from the owners of Cafe Mochi, has closed its doors “until further notice” at 3611 Juniata St., according to a note on the restaurant’s website. The closing was first reported by the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.

Owned by siblings Victor, Duncan and Mina Pham, the restaurant was known for its ramen, bibimbap and Chinese dishes like hot pot. Our reviewer loved VP Square’s fried rice, among other things; read his review of the restaurant here. “Also unparalleled: VP’s hot and sour soup,” the review added. “The addition of shrimp and pork wontons made the appetizer more meal-like and the whole thing the best hot and sour soup I’ve had yet.”
