Schlafly Beer is kicking off Memorial Day weekend with a brand-new event, the BBQ & Bargain Bash, on Saturday, May 24. The celebration is free and open to all ages, running from noon to 8 p.m. at the Schlafly Tap Room at 2100 Locust St. in St. Louis, offering shopping and live music, along with plenty of local food and craft beer.
The open-air market will feature a curated lineup of eclectic vendors offering everything from vintage finds to quirky treasures and handmade goods. Local favorites like MDM Resale, Golden Road Boutique, Feed A Hippie, Chained Up Vintage, Glimmer & Haze, Menagerie Foster and Black Future Vintage will set up shop alongside barbecue and a full lineup of Schlafly beers.
“We’re kicking off summer on Memorial Day weekend with our first BBQ & Bargain Bash, which is an opportunity to bring the community together to shop local finds and enjoy great beer,” said Schlafly CEO David Schlafly. “Whether you’re hunting for hidden gems or soaking in the scene, it’s a chance for everyone to come together and enjoy a great St. Louis day at the Tap Room.”
In addition to vendor booths, guests can enjoy grilled brats, burgers and pork steaks paired with Schlafly’s craft brews. Seasonal selections like Crisp IPA and Imperial Passionfruit Tasmanian IPA will be on tap alongside year-round staples including Pale Ale, Just A Bit Hazy IPA, Kolsch, and Raspberry Hefeweizen. Seasonal cocktails and seltzers will also be available.
Live music will add to the festival atmosphere throughout the day with the following schedule:
1 to 2:30 p.m. // Ahna
3 to 4:15 p.m. // The 45
4:45 to 6 p.m. // The Meat Sweats
6:30 to 8 p.m. // The Teenage Dirtbags
