Shake Shack is bringing its burgers, crinkle-cut fries and hand-spun shakes to River City Casino & Hotel, with the popular restaurant chain set to open its newest St. Louis-area location on Tuesday, Nov. 17.
The new restaurant will make its debut with an 11 a.m. ribbon-cutting ceremony, followed by its public opening at noon. Located inside River City Casino & Hotel, the Shake Shack adds another nationally recognized dining brand to the property’s lineup of restaurants and entertainment offerings.
The menu will feature many of the chain’s best-known items, including the ShackBurger, SmokeShack, crispy chicken sandwiches, crinkle-cut fries, frozen custard and hand-spun milkshakes. Guests also will be able to order house-made lemonades and other signature offerings.
One menu item will be exclusive to PENN Entertainment properties: the Jackpot Shake. The casino-exclusive dessert combines vanilla frozen custard with two types of cookies and is finished with whipped cream, cookie crumbles and sprinkles.
Known for its made-to-order burgers featuring 100% Angus beef, Shake Shack has built a national following around its take on American comfort food and casual dining. The River City opening gives St. Louis diners another opportunity to visit the growing restaurant brand while adding a new food option for casino and hotel guests.
