Fans can enjoy more than just an exciting soccer match at Energizer Park as the St. Louis City SC culinary team unveils four new food partners for the 2025 MLS season: Pappy’s Smokehouse, Damn Fine Hand Pies, Bolyard’s Meat & Provisions and Chicken Scratch. The 100% local in-stadium food program, led by Chief Flavor Officer and James Beard Award-winning chef Gerard Craft, will debut at the home opener on Saturday, Feb. 22.

Craft handpicked the new partners, ensuring their offerings reflect St. Louis’ diverse and vibrant food scene. “Every single year we want something fresh. We want to keep things going. We don’t take that lightly, and we think long and hard about which partners are leaving and which partners are coming in. All of these are forever a part of the City SC family,” said Craft.

Bolyard’s will serve flavorful pork paninis and a comforting pork pozole, perfect for winter game days. Chicken Scratch fans can enjoy their signature pulled rotisserie and fried chicken sandwiches. Damn Fine Hand Pies will offer buffalo chicken hand pies and a specialty cake doughnut featuring raspberry, blueberry, and lemon icing to represent City colors. Pappy’s Smokehouse will bring its beloved barbecue to the stadium, including classic burnt ends sandwiches and smoked ribs.

At a tasting event held at Energizer Park, the food leadership team introduced the new vendors. “It’s real food cooked by local restaurateurs and entrepreneurs right here in our stadium. … This isn’t a few local concepts flanked by your traditional stadium food. It is a lot of local favorites, and we’re really, really proud about that,” said Chief Experience Officer Matt Sebek.

Energizer Park continues to uplift local businesses through its City Flavor program, curated by Sebek and Craft. Last season, over $2.5 million went to the local restaurants operating within the stadium. Returning vendors include fan favorites like Balkan Treat Box and Steve’s Hot Dogs, both of which have been part of the stadium’s culinary lineup since its opening in 2022.

Beyond introducing new local partners, City SC is focused on enhancing the gameday experience for all fans. This season, the club has launched dedicated food stands featuring menu items under $10, making matchday dining more affordable for families. Additionally, City SC has expanded its digital payment options with City Pay, available through the STL City SC app at all food, beverage, and merchandise vendors throughout Energizer Park.
