St. Louis’ favorite spicy chip just got a matchday glow-up.
St. Louis CITY SC is teaming up with Old Vienna of St. Louis for a red-hot local collab ahead of the club’s July 16 rivalry match against Sporting Kansas City at Energizer Park. The limited-edition CITY Red Hot Riplets bring together one of St. Louis’ most beloved snacks with one of the city’s biggest sports brands, wrapped in CITY SC-inspired packaging and built for a rivalry night with some serious kick.
The collaboration marks CITY SC’s return to play at Energizer Park following the FIFA World Cup break, and the club is going all-in for Red Hot Rivalry Night. Fans can expect limited-edition chips, exclusive merch, special matchday food items and a citywide deli drop leading up to kickoff.
Beginning Monday, July 13, fans can score a free bag of CITY Red Hot Riplets with an in-store purchase at select St. Louis delis, while supplies last. Participating spots include Blues City Deli, Carl’s Deli, Gioia’s Deli locations, The Gramophone, Hanneke’s Westwood Deli, LeGrand’s Market & Catering, Mound City Sandwich Shop, Ozzy’s Market, Pastaria Deli & Wine, Steve’s Hot Dogs and Union Loafers.
And because this is St. Louis, the food lineup does not stop at chips.
On July 16, select CITY Flavor food partners inside Energizer Park will serve one-night-only menu items featuring CITY Red Hot Riplets. Fans can look for St. Louis Style CITY Red Hot Ribs from BEAST Craft BBQ, CITY Red Hot Chicken Wings from Chicken Scratch, Brisket Mac & Cheese topped with CITY Red Hot Riplets from Farmtruk, a CITY Red Hot Chicken Caesar Wrap from Pastaria, a CITY Red Hot Riplets Dog from Steve’s Hot Dogs and CITY Red Hot Riplets Del Rio Nachos from Taco Buddha.
CITY SC will also drop an official CITY Red Hot Riplets x Old Vienna merch collection on matchday, featuring an athletic top created in collaboration with designer Fokohaela, plus a scarf, tees, crew sweatshirt and cap. The collection will be available exclusively at the CITY Red Hot Riplets pop-up at the CITY Block Party on Lou Fusz Plaza and at CITY Goods inside Energizer Park.
