The Crack Fox, a “hotdoggery” and entertainment venue, opened last Friday in the former 2 Cents Plain location at 1114 Olive St., co-owner Mike McLaughlin confirmed. Its hours will initially run from 7 p.m. to 1:30 a.m., said McLaughlin (who also co-owns The Bleeding Deacon Public House). The venue will start introducing food (including hot dogs) over the next few weeks; at the moment, though, McLaughlin’s focusing on DJs, dancing and other details. He projects a grand opening early next month. The establishment’s name, by the way, comes from British comedy troupe/TV show The Mighty Boosh.
