Kitchen accessories and gourmet food store Chef’s Stop in Festus has announced that it will be closing its doors for good. “The downturn in the economy just took too much of a toll,” owner Mary Hatfield informed loyal customers in a recent newsletter.
Everything in the store is being sold at a 50-percent discount. Chef’s Stop, located at 1170 West Gannon Drive in Gannon Plaza, will close on Feb. 23rd.
