Gary Tripp and Colin Shive, partners of the Falafelwich Wagon, sure have been busy. This Wednesday on the Falafelwich Wagon, they will debut a few meatball sandwiches from Big Balls, the newest addition to their food truck family that we told you about in June. The Big Balls food truck is expected to roll out onto the streets of St. Louis on its own in late September. According to Tripp, each meatball sandwich will feature a different variety of meatball, cheese, sauce and bread.
But it’s not just falafel and meatballs on the menu for this culinary duo. Tripp and Shive will also be bringing a dessert food truck, Kreamwich, to the St. Louis mobile food scene. The vehicle will serve ice cream sandwiches made with locally sourced, small batch ice cream and house-made cookies.
