The Ellisville community will welcome Lucky’s Market, a full service supermarket opening July 30 at 15830 Fountain Plaza Drive. The Ellisville location is the seventh Lucky’s Market nationwide, and the second Missouri location.
Owners Bo and Trish Sharon opened the first Lucky’s Market in Boulder, Colorado in 2003. Lucky’s Market also has locations in Columbia, Missouri and plans to open another in Rock Hill in 2015. “We’re looking forward to giving our neighbors in the St. Louis area a new taste and experience to bring home to their kitchens,” said Bo Sharon in a recent press release.
The 38,000-square-foot supermarket will employ 180 people and offers customers a wide selection of organic, specialty and gluten-free items. Lucky’s is currently working to source local products such as Dogtown Pizza and local brews. The Ellisville location will also include include a juice bar, coffee bar, bacon cured and smoked in-house, beer, wine and a community room where it will host in-store events like cooking classes, wellness education and children’s events.
