We were tipped off today that Taste of India, located at 3279 Hampton Ave., may have shuttered its doors. After doing a bit of research, we found that Gut Check’s Ian Froeb confirmed that the Indian eatery has indeed closed its doors.
Another tip came in today alerting us that Marco’s Soul Food, located on Olive Boulevard at McKnight Road in University City, may have also shut down. Though The Scoop has not received confirmation from ownership, calls to the restaurant reveal that the phone number is no longer available, the domain for the restaurant’s website is up for sale and the wall on the restaurant’s Facebook page includes queries from a couple hungry St. Louisans regarding whether the restaurant has moved or closed. We’ll update with more as we learn it.
