In other cafe-related news, The London Tea Room will relocate from downtown to the Tower Grove South neighborhood. As reported by Feast’s Barbara Stefano, the move to 3128 Morgan Ford Road will effectively double the size of the tea room, providing more space for events. Manager Jackie James and her team will stop brewing tea at the currently location Jan. 19. It’ll be pinkies up in the old Hyde Park Beer building at the corner of Morgan Ford Road and Hartford Avenue Feb. 1.

Finally, a mere 18 months after opening her mobile tea parlor, The ReTrailer, owner Lisa Govro has parked her vintage Wigwam travel trailer to open an itsy bitsy brick-and-mortar shop, Smalls Tea and Coffee, at 2619½ Cherokee St. Govro currently servers her custom blend of teas, as well as Goshen coffee. Food items include baked goods from nearby Red Fox Bakery and Whisk.
