{Sugarfire’s Big Muddy Sandwich}
There’s no satiating Missouri’s appetite for barbecue; residents of Washington, Missouri will soon have another in-town option. Perched along the Missouri River, the newest Sugarfire Smoke House franchise will open this Wednesday, Oct. 21 at 512 W. Front St.
The latest franchise is owned by husband-and-wife team Craig and Stacey Mueller, who own two pizza franchises in the area. The Muellers said they looked forward to joining downtown Washington’s revitalization effort. “Sugarfire is perfect for downtown,” Craig Mueller said. “There are lot of sit-down places, and they’re wonderful. We look forward to bringing a quick-service concept to the area.”
Patrons in the 50-seat dining room and 20-seat patio area will experience the familiar Sugarfire menu of meat and sides with specials advertised daily on social media.
Not a Franklin county resident? No problem. Look for the next Sugarfire location to open in downtown St. Louis on Washington Avenue in spring 2016 and to undisclosed locations outside the St. Louis area in 2016 and 2017.
