110210_TeesListen up golf fanatics: Soon there will be a place where you can practice your swing, drink a brewski and enjoy a burger. No, Tiger Woods isn’t opening a bar in St. Louis, but Tee’s Golf Grill – an interactive indoor golf center – is coming to Chesterfield Valley early next year.

The bar and grill is slated to open in late January or early February, said Ben Rassieur IV, who is working on the project with business partner Phil Harris. When construction is complete at 103 Chesterfield Valley Drive, the owners hope that the 10,400-square-foot venue becomes the destination for golf lovers who want to up their game and then kick back with a couple of beers and bar fare.

“We’re doing a full-service sports bar and grill,” revealed Rassieur. “We’ll have burgers, wings, chicken strips, pizzas – things along those lines. It will be typical bar food but made with fresh ingredients and mostly [prepared] in-house.”

Visitors to Tee’s can practice their swings using aboutGolf brand PGA Tour indoor simulators. “You hit a real ball with real clubs and it tracks the ball information and simulates the ball flight on a projector screen,” explained Rassieur, who decided to tee off with this business after researching interactive sports technologies. Rassieur and Harris are both graduates of Washington University’s Olin School of Business, having majored in entrepreneurship and marking.
