Dining options at the St. Louis Galleria continue to grow. The newest tenant, Vida Mexican Kitchen y Cantina, is slated to open November 1 in the space formerly occupied by Houlihan’s.

The original Vida location opened in Charlotte, N.C., in 2010. The St. Louis location, the second Vida in the nation, is under different ownership than its sister restaurant. Vida sits at the north end of the Galleria adjacent to BlackFinn American Grille, which opened this spring.

According to the Vida website, the restaurant will offer “old-world-style Mexican” cuisine, handcrafted cocktails and a selection of nearly 100 tequilas. A spokesperson for the Vida-St. Louis location added that the menu will include favorites from the Vida-Charlotte menu as well as traditional, regional and contemporary Mexican-inspired dishes unique to the St. Louis spot.
