Back in March, the owners of Wicked Fresh Subs closed the sandwich shop at the corner of Washington Avenue and 20th Street. Since then, they’ve been readying the space to reopen it as Pour House.
The new concept, according to lead partner Matt Snyder, is for the establishment to be a “fun neighborhood bar and grill.” The fun will come from shuffleboard, darts, touch-screen games, golf and hunting simulators, an Internet jukebox, and six large-screen TVs.
Snyder described a relatively short lunch and dinner menu that includes standard grill fare like burgers, chicken wings, chili dogs and sandwiches. “Its simple food done right,” he said. Late-night revelers can add Pour House to their bar-hopping map, since this house will stay open until 1:30 a.m. Look for doors to open as early as next week.
