A taco and dessert shop that has been serving Cherokee Street since 2017 will soon cease operations.
The Taco & Ice Cream Joint at 2738 Cherokee St. in south St. Louis announced the closure on social media.
“It is with a very sad and heavy heart that we announce the closure of this journey,” the post states. “Thanks to all who supported us throughout the years. Cheers to new beginnings.”
The company had previously launched a GoFundMe, but all mentions of it have been removed from social media.
In an effort to clear out remaining inventory, the restaurant published another post stating it will be open from noon to 6 p.m. this Thursday, June 26, through Sunday, June 30, selling only margaritas and ice cream.
