The massive new Three Sixty Westport exudes luxury, from the velvet-covered furniture and lavish floor-to-ceiling window treatments to the dim mood lighting, fire features throughout, plus a stunning bar and rooftop patio.

The cocktail list was conceptualized by local bar consulting company Bangers Only, led by Kyle Mathis and Tim Wiggins. Try the tropical Stone Cathedral, with two types of rum, plus kola nut, pineapple and lime juices, along with bitters. The Ankle Breaker is also delicious and less dangerous than its name suggests, with a mezcal base, dry sherry, passionfruit, Mexican hot sauce, honey and citrus.

On the food side, start with the cheddar and chive drop biscuits served with creamy honey butter and housemade fruit jam. The grilled broccoli has an Asian flair with sesame, miso, chiles and garlic chips. We also enjoyed the fresh and light shrimp tostada with smashed beans, mole rojo, pickled onion and a sprinkling of cotija and cilantro. The housemade Kit Kat is an absolute must for dessert.

The bar doesn’t accept reservations, and we encountered at least 100 people in line for the elevator on a recent Saturday night visit, so get there early.
