The Juneberry season sure was short this year. (See Ripe for the Pickin’ in the current issue.) Foragers had less than a week to beat the birds, squirrels and other feisty critters to these prized fruit jewels of late spring. Not to worry though, mulberries are still hanging around. Get them while the pickin’s still good!
