INGREDIENTS
1 cup water
2 Tbsp. cornstarch
½ cup sweetened condensed milk
1½ cups evaporated milk
¼ tsp. salt
½ cup sugar
½ cup Budweiser
¼ cup heavy cream
Whipped cream
PREPARATION
In a heavy saucepan, whisk together the water and the cornstarch and simmer the mixture over moderate heat, whisking, for 2 minutes.
Add the milks, salt and sugar. Heat the mixture over moderately low heat, whisking, for 1 to 2 minutes, or until the sugar is dissolved. Remove the pan from heat. Let cool completely.
Once cooled, stir in the Budweiser. Churn in an ice cream maker according to manufacturer instructions.
When the ice cream is ready, add the heavy cream and 2 to 3 scoops of Budweiser ice cream to a blender and blend until smooth. Pour into a chilled glass and top with whipped cream.
