Place the chopped fruit in a pot with Ÿ cup of water and cook, uncovered, over medium heat for 10 minutes. If necessary, add more water, a tablespoon at a time, so that the fruit does not scorch.
Add the flour, sugar and cinnamon. Stir to combine, then mash well.
Let cool before using to allow the mixture to thicken.
