Chill a cocktail glass.
Combine all ingredients in a mixing tin without ice. \”Dry shake\” for 25 seconds. Then add ice and shake vigorously for an additional 25 seconds.
Strain into the chilled glass and garnish with a generous lemon twist.
*Simmer 1 part water and 1 part sugar until dissolved. Remove from heat and allow to cool.

¾ oz. lemon juice
1 oz. simple syrup*

2 dashes Angostura bitters
