To make the tea blend: Add all the ingredients to a large bowl or paper sack and gently
mix together.
To prepare a 2-liter pitcher of iced tea: Scoop 3 generous tablespoons of the tea blend into a loose-leaf tea filter or tie into a coffee filter. In a teapot or medium pan, bring 3 cups water to a near boil (do not let boil), then steep the tea blend in the hot water for 4 to 6 minutes.
Pour the concentrated hot tea into a 2-liter container, and then fill the container the rest of the way with cold water. Do not add sweetener.
Refrigerate for 3 hours.
Serve over ice.
