INGREDIENTS

1½ oz. rye whiskey
¾ oz. fresh lemon juice
¾ oz. simple syrup
Ice
½ oz. sparkling red wine
Lemon slice for garnish

PREPARATION

• Pour the whiskey, lemon juice and simple syrup in a cocktail shaker.

• Add the ice. Also fill a rocks glass with ice. Shake and strain the liquid and pour into the glass.

• Float the red wine on top. Garnish with the lemon slice and serve with a stirrer.
