Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Mix fruit, one cup of sugar and two tablespoons of flour together until combine.
Divide evenly into 12 individual dessert bowls.
Place on a cookie sheet.
Meanwhile, make the dough by combining the remaining quarter cup of sugar and four cups of flour with the baking soda.
Gradually add the diced butter until the mixture resembles a coarse meal.
Stir in heavy cream and mix until just blended.
Make patties with dough, being careful not to overwork it, and top the fruit with the dough.
Sprinkle each bowl lightly with sugar.
Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until golden brown and bubbly.
