Carbonatix Pre-Player Loader

INGREDIENTS

1½ cups flour
½ cup plus 2 Tbsp. almond flour
½ cup (1 stick) salted butter, softened
¹?³ cup powdered sugar
1 egg, beaten

PREPARATION

• In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour and almond flour and set aside.
• In the bowl of a stand mixer, beat the butter and sugar on medium speed until smooth, about 1 minute. Scrape down the sides of the bowl and slowly beat in the egg on medium speed. Scrape down the sides again, and with the mixer on low speed, add the flour mixture. Mix until the flour is incorporated.
• Turn out the dough onto a lightly floured work surface. Flatten the dough into a disc and wrap it in plastic. Refrigerate a few hours or overnight before using.
