Jamie is fanatical about the holidays, so we make boozy treats for friends and family every year. One festively colored favorite is our luscious homemade cranberry liqueur. In a glass container, combine 6 ounces Everclear, 7 ounces water and ½ cup chopped fresh cranberries. Let steep 4 days (shaking or stirring occasionally), then strain. Add 13 ounces simple syrup (equal parts sugar and water, heated until the sugar dissolves) and bottle to give as a gift or drink yourself. Try it with club soda and an orange slice or add a splash to a glass of Champagne.
