1. Lulu’s Local Eats has brought back a customer favorite just in time for warmer weather: the Chipotle Black Bean Burrito for $9. A large whole-wheat tortilla is stacked with roasted sweet potatoes, smoked white bean hummus, brown rice, shredded kale and fresh avocado, all topped with a house-made chipotle sauce that brings the whole thing together. While you’re there, get in a game of pingpong upstairs.

2. Enjoy fancier digs at the Grand Tavern by David Burke at the Angad Arts Hotel in Grand Center. The eatery unveiled a new happy-hour menu full of fun, small bites that are perfect for sharing. Alongside wine and local draft beer specials, snack on $5 Hipster Fries piled with beef jerky, shishito peppers, Parmesan and chili oil or go for broke and try the spicy Korean chicken wings for $10.

3. Lion’s Choice is having a moment right now. The local chain is expanding and regularly partners with people like Niche Food Group’s Gerard Craft and eateries like Hi-Pointe Drive-In. This Budget Crunch deal for college students is too good to pass up. Show a college ID and get four original roast beef sandwiches for $10 Wednesdays after 4 p.m. Share with friends or devour them all yourself.

4. Weekend brunch is great, but everyone needs a good breakfast during the week, too. Living Room in Maplewood rewards early weekday risers with some fast, budget-friendly bites from 7 to 9 a.m. Try killer breakfast deals like the Workday Breakfast Sandwich (a soft-cooked egg with bacon, cheddar and greens) for $6. And don’t forget the caffeine – add a latte for $3.
