Area cocktailians have just a few more days to indulge in libations at Earthbound Satellite. The cocktail bar, located in Soulard Preservation Hall at 1921 S. Ninth St., will serve its last drink on Thursday, Jan. 31.
The folks behind Earthbound Beer opened Satellite on May 31, 2018.
“It was an amicable split,” said co-owner Stuart Keating. “The numbers just weren’t there.”
Keating said for now, Earthbound will focus on its brewing operations and the tasting room at 2124 Cherokee St. Fans of Satellite’s drinks will still have opportunities to indulge, though. Keating said bar manager Ryan Pier will bring the best of Satellite in-house for monthly cocktail pop-ups.
