Lemmons by Grbic opens today, May 24, at 5800 Gravois Ave., in South City. The interior was completely rehabbed, but the outdoor vintage signage remains.
The main dining room features the original exposed brick and a new graffiti mural.
Lemmons by Grbic has 99 seats, including tables, bar and soft seating.
Large plates include the Original Fried Chicken, accompanied by vegetables and a carrot-potato mash.
Starters include Babo’s Flatbread, topped with an ajvar spread, grilled chicken, grilled peppers, onions and mozzarella.
The chicken wings are applewood smoked and topped with a zesty “moonshine fire” glaze.
The panko-crusted crabcakes are served with a fire-roasted pepper aioli.
The Chip Twister Fry features skewers of hand-cut spiral potatoes topped with Parmesan and herbs, and served with a choice of dipping sauces.
The bread is sourced from Sana Bakery, a Bosnian bakery just around the corner on Morgan Ford Road.
