This week on the Sauce podcast, Meera and Michelle discuss a recent lunch at the newly opened Jinzen, an Asian fusion restaurant in Clayton, where the volcano fried rice was a hit with a show-stopping tableside presentation.

They also talk about their favorite dishes at Tai Ke Shabu Shabu, a Taiwanese restaurant in Olivette, where they always order the stir-fried eggplants with basil. Other favorites include the fried rice with Taiwanese sausage and their three cup chicken. In addition, they delve into Michelle’s recent visit to Lindenwood Park to check out Bubba’s Deli.

From the January issue, they discuss a feature detailing several bars in St. Louis and in southern Illinois with a strong whiskey list from writer Bill Moran.
